Ice town on the square of the Revolution of 1905 became a subject of reportage of Channel One

Little ice town «Cherry orchard» which decorates the Square of the Revolution of 1905, became a subject for the reportage shown the day before in the program «Voskresnoe Vremya» on Channel One.

The reportage was devoted to the 150th anniversary of Anton Chekhov and how it was celebrated in Russian cities. One episode was being shot in Ekaterinburg during holiday «Anton Pavlovich invites...», which took place in the territory of little ice town last Friday. In conversation with the correspondent of Channel one actor Yury Tovbin who played the role of the writer paraphrased well known statement - he said that, all XX century came from Chekhov's works.

It is necessary to notice that TV men, in particular, representatives of federal TV channels, show interest in little ice town on the Square of the Revolution of 1905, paying attention to its amazing beauty for many times. Dwellers and guests of the Ural capital have only two weeks to take pleasure in it. The town will be closed down on February, 14th.

In New Year's Eve at once two federal TV channels - «Vesti» and «Rossiya» - were carrying out direct transmission from little ice town on the Square of the Revolution of 1905 all over the country.
