Anton Shipulin brought to Ekaterinburg the first Olympic medal

Russian man's national biathlon team won bronze of Olympic Games 2010 in relay race at the distance 4 on 7.5 kilometres.

The Russians took the third place, having yielded only 0,2 seconds to the Austrians who won silver medal. The Norwegians became the winners of the race.

Russian team yielded 38.8 seconds to winners. Ivan Cherezov realized one additional cartridge, Ekaterinburg dwellers Anton Shipulin and Maxim Chudov were shooting without mistakes, and the Russian national team was a leader up to the last firing line, however because of Eugenie Ustugov's inaccurate shots who missed three times, the team missed even the second place. Zumani left behind Russian biathlonist on finish.

Man's relay race was the last competition of biathlonists of Olimpiade-2010. Earlier the Russians won two gold medals in biathlon: the national team won female relay race, and Ustyugov won man's mass start.
